Former Indian Captain MS Dhoni arrives at a polling station in Ranchi, to cast his vote for the sixth phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2024. 
These polls are part of the sixth round of the Lok Sabha elections. In addition to the nation's capital, polls are scheduled for today  in 14 seats in Uttar Pradesh, 10 in Haryana, 8 in each of Bihar and West Bengal, 6 in Odisha, 4 in Jharkhand, and 1 in Jammu and Kashmir. Polling for 42 Odisha assembly constituencies will take place concurrently. In Phase 6 of voting, 889 candidates from 8 states and UTs will run for office.
