India likely to approve emergency use of Russia's Sputnik V: Sources

Amid the surge in Coronavirus cases in India, an important meeting of Subject Expert Committee is to be chaired today. According to the Sources, in this meeting approval to the emergency use of Russia Sputnik V can be given. Currently, AstraZeneca and Covishield are being used in India. The vaccination drive in India began on 16 January.
