Kolkata Death Case: FIR Filed Against Dr. Kunal Sarkar for Spreading Misinformation | Manogya Loiwal

Kolkata Police have summoned former BJP MP Locket Chatterjee and two renowned doctors, Dr. Kunal Sarkar and Dr. Subarna Goswami, for allegedly spreading rumors and revealing the identity of the woman doctor who was raped and murdered at R.G. Kar Medical College and Hospital. An officer reported on Sunday, August 18, that these individuals, along with 57 others, are accused of disseminating false information about the incident. Dr. Sarkar confirmed receiving the police summons to appear at the Kolkata Police Headquarters in Lalbazar at 3 PM on Sunday. The accused face charges of revealing the victim's identity and spreading misinformation and fake news.
