Jharkhand News: Bridge Under Construction Costing 5 Crores Falls In Giridih | ABP News
Giridih: The bridge being constructed across the Arga River on the Fatehpur-Bhelwaghati route, which connects the villages of Karipahari and Bhelwaghati, was unable to survive the first monsoon rains. The river's water level rose on Saturday night as a result of the intense rain. For the record, let us inform you that the under-construction bridge's girder collapsed and fell, and one foot also turned crooked, as a result of the river's rapid flow. At about 8 p.m., during a period of intense rain, information obtained from the nearby people was discovered to be inaccurate. A tremendous noise was made as the gutter of the bridge that was still under construction collapsed and plummeted into the river. The noise was so loud that it startled residents in the houses nearby.
