Jammu Kashmir: Exchange Of Fire Takes Place At Bhatta After Doda Encounter | ABP News

A brief exchange of fire occurred late Tuesday night between security forces and terrorists in the Bhatta area of Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district, according to the Jammu and Kashmir Police. This firing incident took place following the recent Doda encounter where four Indian Army soldiers were martyred. The encounter, which began on Monday evening in the Doda Forest area, resulted in the deaths of four soldiers. The fallen soldiers were identified as Captain Brijesh Thapa, Naik D Rajesh, Sepoy Bijendra, and Sepoy Ajay. The Indian Army expressed condolences to the families, stating their firm support during this time of grief. The tragic loss highlights the ongoing challenges faced by security forces in the region.
