This environmentally friendly approach focuses on eliminating mosquito larvae, the primary source of dengue transmission. The decision followed a significant surge in dengue cases in 2023, with Tikri Block identified as a hotspot. The health department is also intensifying awareness campaigns to educate the public about dengue prevention.
