Jahangirpuri case: Sonu Chikna, who opened fire during Shobha Yatra, arrested | Bharat Ki Baat

The Delhi Police have detained Sonu Chikna, whose purported video of opening fire during the Shobha Yatra procession on Hanuman Jayanti in Jahangirpuri, was first published by Republic Media Network. A police squad had gone to Jahangirpuri earlier in the day to hunt for Sonu Chikna, but his family and neighbours threw stones at them. The Rapid Action Force (RAF) formed a human shelf to prevent conflicts and avert escalation. One person was apprehended by Delhi police, who described the incident as a "small, one-off incident."
