J&K News: Security Forces Foil Infiltration Attempt In Uri, Kills One Terrorist | ABP News

Security forces have foiled a major infiltration attempt in Uri in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. There has been an encounter between infiltrators and security forces trying to enter India by crossing the international border from Pakistan. A terrorist has been killed in this. Four to five terrorists had tried to infiltrate into India, after which the soldiers deployed in border security caught sight of them and the encounter started.  According to the information received, the security forces have surrounded four to five terrorists, while one terrorist has been killed in the encounter. This incident of infiltration has come to light at a time when four major terrorist incidents were reported in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 15 days. At one place a village full of devotees was attacked and at another place terrorists spread terror in the village. The government had also held a review meeting on the deteriorating situation in Kashmir and increasing terrorism.
