On 14 June, the body of actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging from a fan in his Bandra house. After the Mumbai and Bihar Police, CBI is investigating the case. Sushant's father KK Singh had on July 25 filed a case in Patna against 6 accused including Rhea Chakraborty for cheating his son and abetting him to suicide.

CBI has taken the case of the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput amidst the escalation of Mumbai and Bihar Police.
