Sharad Pawar has made his daughter Supriya Sule the candidate from this seat where she is facing competition from his sister-in-law Sunetra Pawar. Amidst the Lok Sabha elections, Supriya Sule has given a big statement regarding Ajit Pawar and Sunetra Pawar in ABP News' special program Shikhar Sammelan. At the ABP summit, Supriya Sule said on the contest with sister-in-law Sunetra Pawar, "I never felt sad about this. It is not about a fight for existence. I never thought that there would be such a contest." On the split in NCP, he said, "What happened, things happen in life... what a big deal this is."
