Indian Flag hoisted at UN Security Council | Matrabhumi

India's two-year term as a temporary member of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) began on Monday. During this time, the tricolor was hoisted in the council corridor. 

In August 2021, India will preside over the UN Security Council. The national flag of four other temporary members was also hoisted along with the Indian flag, these includes Norway, Kenya, Ireland, and Mexico.
