Indian economy in a more daunting state than the 1991 crisis: Manmohan Singh

Former Prime Minister of India, Manmohan Singh, has expressed his views on the ongoing COVID pandemic. He said that crores of Indians had lost jobs and many lost near and dear ones. It should not have happened. Talking about the Indian economy Singh said that it was in a worse state than the 1991 crisis.
