India's Got Latent Controversy: FIR Filed Against Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina & Others

The controversy surrounding the comedy show India's Got Latent continues to escalate, with an FIR filed against prominent personalities including Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and Ashish Chanchlani. The case has been registered following controversial statements made during an episode of the show. The Khark Police have already recorded Ashish Chanchlani's statement and are in touch with the other accused. Samay Raina, one of the show's creators, is currently abroad, and the police have made attempts to contact him as well. Police are likely to summon Ranveer Allahbadia to record his statement soon. The episode in question was shot on November 14, 2024, and a clip from it went viral, sparking public outrage. The police are working with BookMyShow to gather a list of audience members present during the recording. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Cyber Police have also filed a case and have instructed YouTube to remove all episodes ofIndia's Got Latent. The National Commission for Women (NCW) has issued summons to the accused, with a hearing scheduled for February 17, 2025. The investigation continues, and the full uncut video will be seized upon Samay's return to India.
