India logs 1,17,100 new COVID cases | Special Bulletin (7 Jan 2022)

COVID-19 cases in India rising at an unprecedented rate, the country reported 1,17,100 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.

On the other hand, Kolkata High Court is expected to give a verdict on the petition demanding the cancellation of the Gangasagar Mela.

The Supreme Court heard the PM security lapse case today, the next hearing is scheduled to be held on Monday.
