Rain in India: Several states in India are experiencing severe distress due to a shift from extreme heat to heavy rainfall. The Meteorological Department predicts heavy to very heavy rainfall in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura from June 30 to July 4, 2024. Continuous rain has caused landslides, disrupting road connections in Arunachal Pradesh. The Border Roads Organization (BRO) is working to clear debris and restore connectivity.
