On Thursday, the Jharkhand High Court heard the matter related to mining lease, investment in shell companies and MNREGA scam. Out of this, now two cases have reached the Supreme Court. On the other hand, the matter related to MNREGA will be heard in the Jharkhand High Court itself. The petition was filed by Shiv Shankar Sharma seeking a CBI inquiry into the mining lease of CM Hemant Soren and the shell company case of his close associates. The Supreme Court will hear this petition on Friday, May 20.

On Thursday, an important hearing was held in the Jharkhand High Court regarding mining lease, investment in shell companies and MNREGA scam related to IAS Pooja Singhal. During the hearing, senior advocate Kapil Sibal, on behalf of the state government, informed the Jharkhand High Court about the filing of SLP in the Supreme Court regarding matters related to mining leases and shell companies.
