Hyderabad Rains: Death toll rises to nine

Heavy rain has caused havoc in Hyderabad. The entire city has become inundated after receiving more than 20 cm of rain in 24 hours. In some places, cars were washed off due to heavy water flow. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rain even today. In the Chandrayangutta area of Hyderabad, 9 people died after a boulder fell on the house due to the rain.
