View In AppThree people including a woman died due to suspected heat stroke in the Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday, according to officials. The district's Chief Medical Officer stated that the cause of the deaths could have been heat stroke, which can only be confirmed after a post-mortem examination. However, doctors at the government hospital said they were almost certain that the woman's death was due to heat stroke."A woman came to the district hospital of Mahoba, and after examining her, we saw that her pupils were dilated, she had hyper-pyrexia, and her body temperature was very warm. It seems she was affected by the heatwave, and her body has been sent for post-mortem," says Medical-in-charge, Emergency, Mahoba District Hospital. The Chief Medical Officer of Mahoba district urged residents to follow safety precautions to prevent heat stroke. The weather office has said that heat wave conditions are likely to abate over the next couple of days due to a western disturbance, rainfall, thunderstorms and moist south-westerly winds blowing from the Arabian Sea to north-west India.
