A notable change includes CM Naib Singh Saini being shifted to contest from Ladwa, whereas he is currently an MLA from Karnal. Former Home Minister Anil Vij will contest from Ambala Cantt. Haryana has a total of 90 Assembly seats, with elections scheduled for October 5 and results expected on October 8. In a significant move, Devender Singh Babli, who joined the BJP just two days ago, has been given a ticket from Tohana. Former MP Sunita Duggal has been fielded from Ratia. The BJP has replaced Deepak Mangla in Palwal with Gaurav Gautam. Additionally, Union Minister Rao Inderjit’s daughter Aarti and Kuldeep Bishnoi’s son Bhavya Bishnoi have been given tickets. The party has dropped the tickets of nine sitting MLAs, including two cabinet ministers and a former minister. However, the BJP has placed trust in leaders who recently joined from JJP and Congress. Manju Hooda has been fielded from Garhi Sampla-Kiloi, a seat held by senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda. Former jail superintendent Sunil Sangwan, who recently joined the BJP, will contest from Charkhi Dadri.
