Students of Government College in Jammu recited 'Hanuman Chalisa' to protest against the loudspeaker playing in the mosque. However, the police stopped them from reciting the 'Hanuman Chalisa' and six students were taken into custody, these students were later released, who study at the Gandhi Memorial College in Jammu, which is a government college. The students protested that the use of loudspeakers in the local mosque was hampering their studies.
