View In AppHeavy rain continued on Saturday across several districts in Gujarat, including Saurashtra, Dwarka, Junagadh, and Porbandar, leading to flood-like conditions. The relentless rainfall has disrupted connections between numerous villages and urban areas, with low-lying regions submerged. In response to the potential flooding, rescue and relief operations have been initiated, with teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) deployed to the impacted areas. According to the Gujarat State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC), Dwarka Taluka in Devbhoomi Dwarka district received 163 millimeters of rain over a 12-hour span by 6 PM on Saturday. Junagadh city and Taluka experienced 133 millimeters of rainfall, while the Patan-Veraval area in Gir Somnath district saw 117 millimeters.
