The footage reveals a chaotic scene where a flower vendor is seen fighting with a devotee. The situation escalates as vendors jump from their stalls to engage in brawls. Following the altercation, a massive, disorganized crowd and a lack of space caused panic as people scrambled to perform rituals at the temple. The video shows that no officials were present to manage the crowd. Some individuals tried to help those fallen on the stairs, but the crowd made rescue efforts difficult. The stampede resulted in eight deaths, including women, and over 30 injuries. The administration is reviewing CCTV footage but has yet to take action.
