View In AppThere is a big political turmoil in Bihar before the Lok Sabha elections 2024. On Sunday (January 28, 2024), Nitish Kumar resigned from the post of Chief Minister of the state. After meeting JD(U) MLAs, he reached Raj Bhavan where he submitted his resignation letter to the Governor. Shortly after leaving the post of CM, Nitish Kumar came in front of the media. During this time he enumerated the reasons behind his resignation. He made it clear that things were not going well in the alliance for the last one and a half years, hence he resigned after taking the opinion of the MLAs.
