First batch of SII Corona vaccine reaches Delhi

The first batch of Serum Institute of India's Coronavirus vaccine has reached Delhi. It was shipped from Pune early Tuesday morning. Over 14 tonnes of Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines took off from Pune in ten flights and landed in Delhi and Gujarat.
Modi government had inked a contract with the SII for 11 million doses for the frontline workers.
