First batch of Covaxin reaches Delhi

Air India transported the first consignment of vaccines from Hyderabad to Delhi.

The operation comes a day after the Serum Institute of India's Covishield vaccine was transported across the country. The vaccine has been indigenously developed in India. Kejriwal had earlier appealed to the Centre to provide vaccines free of cost to the people.
