Emotional wife of decorated Colonel Ashutosh Sharma bids him adieu

Mortal remains of Colonel Ashutosh Sharma of 21 Rashtriya Rifles who was martyred during his fight with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Handwara, was given farewell. The military funeral took place in Jaipur, Rajasthan where his friends and family were present.

The commanding officer of the 21 Rashtriya Rifles unit, who lost his life in operation in Handwara, had been twice awarded gallantry medals for exemplary bravery in counter-terrorist missions.
