Election Commission to impose ban on ground rallies? Press Conference soon

The Election Commission of India (ECI) will release the schedule for Assembly elections in Goa, Punjab, Manipur, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh at 3.30 p.m. on Saturday. The Election Commission is expected to impose a ban on ground rallies in the poll-bound states in view of increasing COVID-19 cases in India. The Election Commission will also announce the fresh guidelines for the Assembly Elections 2022.
