Doda Terrorist Attack: Dead body of martyred soldier Ajay Singh of Jhunjhunu will be brought tomorrow

In a jungle area of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir, a military officer and 5 security personnel were martyred in a firefight with terrorists. Officials provided this information on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

They explained that personnel from the National Rifles and a special operations group of Jammu and Kashmir Police initiated a combined cordon and search operation in the Desa forest area around 8:30 PM. The encounter ensued thereafter.

During over 20 minutes of exchange of gunfire, one officer, four soldiers, and one policeman were injured. They were taken to the hospital where their condition was critical, and unfortunately, four of them succumbed to their injuries.
