Delhi to get new Police Commissioner soon?

Delhi may get a new police commissioner soon, Sources say. As model code of conduct has come into force across Delhi due to upcoming Assembly polls, the Ministry of Home Affairs has written a letter to Election Commission over the retirement of the current police commissioner Amulya Patnaik on January 31. A new commissioner needs to be appointed or it is possible that the current commissioner may get an extension.
