On Wednesday morning, July 24, 2024, Delhi experienced a welcome change in weather as heavy rain swept through the city. Around 6:30 AM, the national capital and surrounding areas were shrouded in darkness before the downpour began. The rain provided much-needed relief from the oppressive humidity and also brought down the temperature. However, the aftermath of the rain revealed significant waterlogging issues in some areas. Potholes across the city filled with rainwater, and areas with loose soil turned into muddy patches.
