View In AppOn Monday, a Delhi court ordered Ansar and Aslam, the two main suspects in the Jahangirpuri violence case, to be held in police custody for another two days. The Rohini Court's one-day custody order had expired earlier in the day. The police were given one-day custody after the court heard that the two accused learned about the Shobha Yatra held on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti and plotted the plot. Four others were taken into judicial custody after being brought before the court on Monday. On Sunday, 12 more people were placed in judicial detention. With this, the total number of individuals under judicial custody in connection with the incident in New Delhi on April 15 has risen to 16.
