The Burari Assembly seat, a Purvanchali-dominated contituency, has elected Sanjeev Jha of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) with a high margin of 88,158 votes. Jha's winning margin has continued to rise from 10,351 votes in 2013 to 67,950 votes in 2015 to now the highest in this Assembly elections.
Talking to ABP News, Jha said that Delhi people have shown their trust in Arvind Kejriwal.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday won 62 seats and BJP eight out of a total of 70 assembly seats at stake in the city-state where the polling was held on February 8.
