The remarks come amid heightened political rhetoric between the two parties, who are gearing up for a fierce contest in the upcoming elections.The Election Commission has announced that voting will take place on February 5, 2025, with the results to be declared on February 8. The capital will see a total of 13,033 polling stations spread across 2,697 locations. Voters can expect a robust election process with 100% webcasting at polling stations for greater transparency. Special provisions include 210 model polling stations and booths run by women and differently-abled staff.With 1.55 crore registered voters, including 28.89 lakh youth voters, Delhi’s election dynamics are intensifying. AAP, Congress, and BJP will be vying for dominance, with AAP currently holding a strong position after winning 62 out of 70 seats in the 2020 election. For a majority, 36 seats are needed, setting the stage for a high-stakes battle.
