Deepika Padukone's presence in JNU was respectful: Varsity Student

Deepika Padukone was in Jawaharlal Nehru University to be a part of the protest against the fee-hike. While talking about it to ABP News, JNU students said that her presence meant a lot and was respectful. "If she would have spoken, it would have been great," said the student said. 

Padukone is among a few Bollywood celebrities who have come out in support of Jawaharlal Nehru University students who were attacked by masked goons Sunday night inside their own campus. On Tuesday, Deepika visited JNU to show her support to the students and met JNUSU president Aishe Ghosh who was seriously injured during the attack.
