Coronavirus: Health Ministry asks a PSU to purchase 10,000 ventilators

In his daily briefing to the media over the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, Joint Secretary of Health Ministry, Lav Aggarwal said, "We have given an order to a PSU to provide 10,000 ventilators. Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has also been requested to purchase 30,000 additional ventilators in 1-2 months." Meanwhile, the total number of Coronavirus positive cases in India has risen to 724.
