Corona Vaccination in India to begin from 16 January

The date of vaccination has been announced. Bharat Biotech's Covaxin and Oxford AstraZeneca's Covishield vaccine were approved for restricted emergency use on 3 January. Covishield is being produced by the Serum Institute of India.

The central government has announced that Corona vaccination will begin in the country from 16 January. Before the inoculation drive, the government conducted dry runs in the country.
