Congress quotes BJP MP's statement to target Modi govt on India-China stand off

Congress leader Manish Tewari has said that BJP MP Tapir Gao asserted in an interview to a regional television channel that China had occupied areas on both banks of the Subansiri river in the State’s Upper Subansiri district, even on the Indian side of the McMahon Line. He has asked the Indian government to come clean on the claims made by the MP from the ruling party. Meanwhile, BJP dismissed Tewari's demand as 'attempt to demotivate the public.'
