Can 'Love Jihad' law be used to harass innocents?

Uttar Pradesh government has passed an ordinance to bring in effect a 'Love Jihad' law that will punish a person who will lie about his religion in a relationship. A draft bill for a similar law has been prepared in Madhya Pradesh and is under consideration in Haryana. However, the critics of this law allege that it might be used to harass innocents and target people from specific community.
