The attack on Indian soldiers by Chinese troops in Ladakh has drawn severe criticism from traders across the country.
CAT's National General Secretary Pravin Khandelwal said that currently, India imports goods worth about 5.25 lakh crores i.e. 70 billion dollars from China annually. These items were being imported for being low in cost.
Goods manufactured in India can very easily replace Chinese goods and India can reduce its dependence on China for this.
