The investigation into the emerging “doctor module” linked to the Delhi blast has intensified, with fresh raids conducted in Kulgam, Jammu & Kashmir. Security agencies searched the residence of Dr. Umar Farooq Bhatt, with visuals showing officials examining documents, books, and electronic devices. Sources indicate that Dr. Umar Farooq Bhatt was professionally associated with the arrested fidayeen attacker Dr. Umar, as both worked within the same department—prompting scrutiny of all close links. During the raid, officials seized several electronic devices, including mobile phones and laptops, which will undergo forensic examination to determine possible communication with handlers or other module members. In a parallel crackdown, Srinagar’s Super Speciality Hospital, specifically the Cardiology Department, was also searched overnight by Counter Intelligence Kashmir. Officers recovered papers and digital material suspected to contain operational clues tied to the terror network. Authorities have not released detailed findings but confirmed that all raids are connected to the terror module busted earlier by Jammu & Kashmir Police.
