Ayodhya, November 25, 2025 – Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Ayodhya today to hoist the sacred saffron flag atop the Ram Mandir, marking a historic and spiritual celebration. The flag-hoisting ceremony, a blend of tradition, devotion, and national pride, coincides with the auspicious day of Vivah Panchami, commemorating the marriage of Lord Ram and Goddess Sita. Before the ceremony, PM Modi will offer prayers at the Ram Darbar and in the sanctum sanctorum of Ram Lalla. He will also participate in rituals at the Sapt Rishi and Mata Annapurna temples. The flag-hoisting ritual will be conducted with Vedic chants, during which the Prime Minister, along with dignitaries, will press a button to unfurl the flag atop the temple’s spire. Preparations for the historic event have been meticulously arranged, with a specially constructed stage behind the main temple to accommodate VIP guests.
