BJP nominates Sushil Modi for Rajya Sabha by-polls in Bihar

Former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and BJP leader Sushil Modi will now be sent to Rajya Sabha. BJP has made him a Rajya Sabha candidate from Bihar. The Rajya Sabha seat of Bihar is vacant after the recent demise of Lok Janshakti Party leader Ram Vilas Paswan. The by-election will be held on the vacant Rajya Sabha seat after the death of Ram Vilas Paswan.
