During his visit to Texas, Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, launched a strong critique against the BJP government. Addressing a gathering, Gandhi remarked, "The RSS believes India is a single idea, while we believe India is a multitude of ideas. We think everyone should be allowed to participate, dream, and find a place regardless of caste, language, religion, tradition, or history."

He further stated that this ideological battle became clear during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, when millions of Indians realized that the Prime Minister was attacking India's Constitution. He emphasized that the foundation of modern India is its Constitution, and what he spoke about aligns with its principles. Gandhi witnessed this understanding unfold during the elections.
