This attack comes shortly after a similar incident on June 13, when miscreants targeted a police team at Karanpur Balu Ghat in Govindpur police station area. During that incident, stones were thrown, and gunshots were reported, injuring five policemen, including the police station chief, Rajiv Kumar Patel. The case involves extortion at Balu Ghat, with the tender for Karanpur Balu Ghat reportedly awarded to Mini Max Company.
