Bihar Elections 2025: PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi Yadav Lead Intense Campaigns Ahead of Second Phase Voting

ABP News Bureau   |  07 Nov 2025 12:15 PM (IST)

As Bihar gears up for the second phase of polling on November 11, the state has turned into a political battleground with top national and regional leaders holding back-to-back rallies. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav are all actively campaigning to woo voters. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, and AIMIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi have also joined the election trail, adding to the high-voltage atmosphere. Prime Minister Modi, addressing a rally in Araria, attacked the opposition, alleging that Rahul Gandhi’s “Voter Adhikar Yatra” was a “ghuspetiya bachav yatra” (campaign to protect infiltrators). He emphasized the need for a “double-engine NDA government” to ensure Bihar’s progress and national security. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi, during his rallies in Purnia and Araria, accused the BJP of “stealing elections,” claiming the party was attempting to manipulate Bihar’s mandate. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also campaigned in Seemanchal, targeting the Congress and RJD for allegedly supporting Bangladeshi infiltrators for vote-bank politics. As the second phase approaches, Bihar’s political landscape is charged with fiery speeches, fierce accusations, and intense competition among major alliances.
