View In AppThe Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday staged a demonstration against the Trinamool Congress in West Bengal's Nandigram after the saffron party alleged that its workers were attacked by TMC members. The development comes ahead of the sixth phase of voting for the Lok Sabha elections which will take place on Saturday.
The BJP alleged that several of their workers were attacked by TMC workers last night with sharp object when the members of the saffron party were patrolling near the booth where votes will be polled on Saturday. The BJP alleged that one of their woman worker was killed in the attack while around seven people were injured, triggering the protests.
