Bangladesh Violence: Advocates Protest Against Minority Oppression | ABP News

Varanasi: Lawyers in Varanasi today protested outside the court premises against incidents of violence at religious sites of minorities in Bangladesh. During the protest, dozens of advocates burned the flag of Bangladesh while chanting slogans. Minorities exist in every country, whether religious, linguistic, or ethnic. The pressing question is, where do Bangladesh's minorities turn for safety? This is particularly relevant given that thousands of Indians sacrificed their lives for Bangladesh's independence. Disturbing images are emerging from the country once led by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Even after Sheikh Hasina fled and a new interim government took over in Dhaka, violence against Hindus persists. Thousands are now fleeing to the India-Bangladesh border, where the BSF remains on high alert. In response, Hindu organizations have mobilized, with hundreds protesting in Dhaka on Saturday. The Hindu Jagran Manch led a significant demonstration, demanding equal rights for all. This analysis explores the profound suffering and desperation of Hindus in Bangladesh.
