Assam: BANDICOOT Robot to clean manholes in Guwahati

Robot named 'BANDICOOT' will be used to clean manholes in Assam's Guwahati. It has been procured by the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC).
This robot the first of its kind in the world that was developed by a Start-up India company called Genrobotics under the Make in India initiative. 
It is funded by CSR of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL).
