As Cyclone Asani intensifies, IMD issue alert in 3 states | ABP News

On Sunday evening, Cyclone Asani, which had formed over the southeast Bay of Bengal, became a powerful cyclonic storm. The storm is travelling northwest towards the shores of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, according to the Indian Meteorological Department. On Tuesday, as the severe cyclone reaches west-central and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal along the shores of north Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, it is expected to recurve north-northeast wards and proceed towards the northwest Bay of Bengal off the coast of Odisha.
