Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi chief minister and national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), said on Sunday that his party had released compensation for crops destroyed in Punjab during October's unseasonal rains and hailstorms within three days of joining the state's government. Farmers who have been affected would receive checks soon, he said.
